Happy Retirement.....
Dr. Brown!!
Tayen is no longer taking bottles as of last Wednesday. She was down to taking only one before bedtime and that was the hardest to break. I decided that night that I would put her milk in the "Most expensive cup in the world" and try to see if she would take it. And..she did.
Over the weekend, I washed & sterilized all the bottles and put them into retirement. I'm so glad that I don't have to wash all those parts anymore!
This would be the new cup! I bought it way before she was one thinking that she might like it since it had a longer spout and she hated it. She would scream and have nothing to do with the cup. I had kind of given up hope but seeing as how these bad boys are $ 10.95 a piece I had to try again (more like for the 10th time). I'm so glad I did. Now I need to invest in more than one!!

" Not Me Monday"
I don't have much this week but at least I remembered to post it. I promise I'll try to start remembering!
I'm "NOT" hoping that it snows tonight and tomorrow morning so that MOPS will be canceled so I do "not" have to make strawberry jello salad . I love going to MOPS but if it's canceled tomorrow I do "not" want 2 huge pans of jello with fruit in it to go to waste.
I'm also "not" jealous of my mom and sisters tanning for Disney world. Would I be jealous of a tan body? Nope "not" me..that's why I'm going to start tanning too!!!
That's all I have!! What about you??

Hair Bows
No little girl should have this many bows, and that's not even close to all of them. I had been keeping them in a box but the box just wasn't cutting it anymore So I had an idea.
I looked around online to see where I could get a bow holder and how much they were. When I figured out that they were really cute and really expensive I figured I could make one. So my creative juices started flowing and here you have it: My 1st bow holder!! I did it in pink and brown to match Tayten's room. The grand total to make the thing was $5.57 compared to $25 I think I did great!

Missed it Again
Well, I haven't been doing a good job at keeping up with "Not Me Monday" I guess I'm to perfect! Just kidding, actually I just haven't had the time. I've been scrap booking like crazy lately. Tayten will be 17 months on the 12th and I'm just now scrapping the birth. I'm way behind. So I've made a goal to at least try to get half way caught up by the end of the month. I'm not sure that is a reasonable goal since we have trips planned but it never hurts to try. I really got motivated to get moving on Tayten's book when a lady that I knows daughter is 9 months old and she's up to six months on her book, plus has twins and works full time! So I have no excuse!
In other news.. It's getting closer to our Bahama's trip and I don't know who should be more nervous. Me or Grandma Kathy. I'm nervous about leaving her for so long and after Tayten ransacking Kathy's house last night she may wondering what she got herself into!!
