Since my memory is so bad, I thought I would review the year this way! Look how much Tayten has changed! The pictures go from 4 months to 15 months. It was fun to put together and brought back many memories. Hope you enjoy. Happy New Year from our family to yours!

Merry Christmas
WOW!!! What a busy four days we have had! It went by so fast I was beginning to think that it was never going to end! I mean I didn't want it to end but from the looks of our house it needs to end soon! We had a great Christmas and spent lots of time with family and friends. We are so thankful that we have all of you in our lives! Tayten has spent the last four days running around non-stop playing with everything she can get her hands on! She has so many new things she doesn't know what to play with first. Tayten say's ThAnK YoU to everyone for all of her gifts, she loves them all.
Here's a run down of our Christmas festivities:
Christmas Eve- We celebrate with my Mom's side of the family. Everyone was there with exception of the "snow birds" who are in Florida for the winter. We had a great time and Santa came to visit as well. I already did a post on this so I won't ramble on. A big thank you to Aunt Connie and Uncle Ed for Tayten's baby doll and Stroller she loves it! :)
Christmas Day- What a whirl-wind. We didn't know if we were coming or going! Tayten woke up around 8:00 so we brought her down stairs and showed her what Santa brought. He brought her inflatable ball bit with a slide which was a huge hit. She went right to it and went to town so we eventually had to put it away so she would open the rest of the gifts. Once we were done with that my parents came over to do our Christmas. We had a yummy breakfast and opened some wonderful gifts. Once again Tayten got way way to much stuff. Grandpa went crazy in the toy dept. O-well!! She really likes "Chuck my talking truck" and her new horse~
Then mid afternoon we went to my aunt Tammy's house and did our gift exchange. As always it was a fun time and we all got snuggies!! (Just want I wanted!! NOT) Then we made one last stop at Grandma Kathy's and Grandpa Jim's. Tayten fell asleep on the way there so she did get in a short nap. Once again we had a great time and Tayten enjoyed playing with her cousin's. She also loves her new kitchen that she received. It's been a huge hit! Thank you so much Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Jim.
Saturday- We had Christmas at Grandma Maple's. We meet at the church so Tayten enjoyed running and playing in the gym. Santa paid another visit but I forgot my camera and she just cries anyway so it's not much to take a picture of! Anyway it was great to get see grandma and see all of the aunts, uncles and cousins that we don't see that often. We then ended back up at Grandma Kathy's and Grandpa Jim's to play with Landon and Maggie who were not there on Christmas. The kids were so excited to see Landon!! Way to cute!
Sunday- Things are starting so slow down by this point.... We went to church and then to lunch with Brent and Stacey. Thanks so much for inviting us. We made a quick stop in town and then headed back to Grandma Kathy's again to visit with Grandpa Moseley who braved the snow to come visit with us. We had a great visit.
So..here we are today. I'm looking at all these presents and thinking about how we are going to fit them all in. I have been thinking about re-doing the playroom but now we HAVE to redo the playroom. I think once we organize it a little better Tayten will play in there more. Enough rambling my mountains of laundry are waiting to be done along with the rest of this messy house.
Overall, we have a wonderful time and a blessed Christmas. We enjoyed visiting with everyone and can't wait until the next opportunity to do it again. We hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday season! Now.....on with the pictures!

Kitty Boots
Last week while Tayten and I were out Christmas shopping I ran across these cute rubber boots on the clearance rack at Kohl's. Before looking to see if they even had her size I checked for the price and found the tag to say $2.50. Well at $2.50 I had to find some that fit her and some for next spring! I tried them on her while she was sitting in the stroller and she instantly noticed that they had a kitty on them. So she goes crazy saying "kitty, kitty" and starts screaming for them. Ever since she is in love with them. She wears them around the house and when we say "go get your shoes" she brings the kitty boots! Unfortunately she is a major klutz in them. Maybe she gets that from my mom or Aunt Connie!!:) Please don't mind the drool on the shirt. She's working on get her molars!

Christmas Lights
We ventured out to Rose Lawn Acres in Rossiville and the TPA Park in Frankfort to view the Christmas lights. I was afraid that Tayten would fall asleep on the way there and miss the entire thing, but she managed to stay awake. It was to cold to roll the windows down to enjoy the music but she enjoyed it. She keep squealing in delight the entire way through the lights and even smiled at Santa when he gave her a candy cane! I was going to let her try the candy cane once we got home but she fell asleep on the way home so she missed it. I'll let her try another day! Rose Lawn Acres
