Blogging Funk

Sorry I haven't been posting lately. It seems I'm in a blogging funk! I've been busy trying to get some things done. Going to two trips is not easy on ones house and schedules! I'm working on getting Tayten back to the daily grind, doing mountains of laundry, getting the house back up to my standard's, finding homes for all of the "NEW" Minnie's we own, getting ready for Easter and lots of other stuff!

On another note: Today was GYM day! Tayten's favorite today was the balance beam. She loves to walk across that thing. She probably did it at least 50 times! It's so cute to watch her! I'll post a picture of her GYM outfit soon! She's so cute! :) We also had a play date with Jessica and Billy yesterday! It was so much fun, but they most likely won't be here for long. They put their house on the market and will be moving near the end of summer! So we play almost every week!!

We are going to try to make Easter cookies and color eggs soon so I'll get some pictures of that on here soon. I'm also trying to decide what dress Tayten should wear for Easter. She has 3 dresses that would all work, so maybe she'll wear all three!!
Happy Wednesday Everyone!!
Oh...How did I forget to tell you all!!
I'm so excited for my friend..........
MARYANNE she is ENGAGED!!!!
Congrats MaryAnne and Bryan!!!!

Disney World

Were back and we had a great time. The weather cooperated which was great. It only rained for about 2 hours the very first day! It was chilly in the morning's but warmed up quickly by late morning. We ate way to much food, rode lots of rides, visited with lots and lots of Mickey's and other characters and much more. We visted all the parks and spent an evening in Downtown Disney.

Tayten LOVED every minute of it! She was a little scared at first but she warmed up. She got lots and lots of Minnie loot, including a dress up minnie. I have dressed up that Minnie so many times already, I'm ready to hide it! Minnie is her new favorite!!

I'll let the pictures do the talking! I took over 250 pictures so it was hard to pick the good ones and find ones to upload on my blog. I only did a few because it would take forever. If you want to see our Disney Pictures just ask, and I'll let you see all of them!

DiSnEy or BuSt!!!!

Our bags are packed (well sort of) and were ready to go. Well, were not quite finished packing yet but I'm pretty sure were ready! I won't be posting at all while were there, since there is no such thing as free Internet at Disney World, and I'm pretty sure we won't have time! We already have some fun things lined up. Were going to eat at Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh and Friends, Breakfast with Play House Disney. Were also going to eat at Chef Mickey's and then Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare!! (we had to make reservations so these are set in stone!)

Have a great week and I'll post as soon as time allows!!!

Confession...

I LoVe Smore's.
I would make one (or two or three) every night if I could. I always have the supplies on hand and at the drop of the hat I will make one. I thought I would show you just how I make my gooey chocolate delight!
Step 1: Gather all the supplies
Step 2: Turn front burner on high and put marshmallows onto a fork
Step 3: Cook marshmallow over burner and wait.
I've had a lot of practice and if you put the burner on high it only takes a
few seconds!!!

Step 4: PeReFeCt MaRaShMaLlOw

Step 5: Assemble and eat!

Now doesn't that look yummy! Go and make yourself one! Every one that knows about my slight addiction says that I need to get a indoor smore maker! I don't think I need one...I've got it down to a science!!
Nothing beats the gooeyness of a smore! I've bought so many other food items that say "Smore's" on them and they just aren't the same!

Cake

We had ice cream cake for Grandpa's birthday tonight. Tayten always knows she'll get whatever she wants from Grandpa so she's always in his lap! Wait until we go to Disney World :) Maybe we should have had a St. Patty's day meal instead of just cake!!

Happy St. Patty's Day & Gym Time

Sorry once again for the lack of posting but it's been a busy week around here so far. I have lots to blog about but I'll save those for later posts. We've been trying to get ready for Disney World and accomplish everything else that we have going on. Today was Tayten's FIRST DAY AT GYMNASTICS!!! We go on Wednesday Mornings and she had so much fun. It's more like Gym and learn class since they don't really do gymnastics. The teacher is great and the little ones LOVE it!! It only lasts 45 min and it goes by quick let me tell you. Today they did bubbles, popcorn (parachute), barrel rolls, blocks and balance beam. They also have free play,do stretches and sing songs! I'll take some pictures soon!
Happy St. Patty's day and HaPpY BiRtHdAy GrAnDpA!!

Where a Kid can be a Kid...

CHUCKIE CHEESE!!!
Last weekend we visited Chuckie Cheese. Tayten had a ball running around and playing, riding on everything. We were sweating just trying to keep up with her. When we first got there I think she may have been over whelmed but she soon warmed up. By the time our pizza arrived she was standing up in the booth watching all the other kids play. So needless to say she stood and ate the entire time. With the help of Grandpa, Shelby & daddy she won some cool prizes. A soft hammer and a lunch box. Shelby won lots and lots of cotton candy and other stuff!

MOPS Day

Vacation is over and it's time to get back into the swing of our daily routine. There's no better way to start it then with MOPS. We love MOPS Tuesday's. Tayten is getting better about being left and likes it better in the two year old room. They moved her up since she tends to like to be with the older kids. So far it seems to be helping. Our topic today was women's health and exercise. It was fun and we even did a little exercise!!! Tayten's art work is below. Isn't it cute? Her teachers said that they had snack and art all in one today since they would not stop eating them! Ha! After we were done at MOPS we met my friend Missy at Pizza King for lunch. After that Tayten and I go to our normal stores. One of which is Hobby Lobby. Oh. how I love that store. Look what I found for Tayten's room!! It's so true!!!
I just love it!!

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

Coming Home!!

We had a great time in Atlantis. We both agreed we would love to go back. It was hard leaving Tayten and we missed her like crazy but we survived. We stayed busy and got pictures and emails daily about her day. The weather was wonderful and the food was great. We had a great time with our friends. As always vacation is always to short but we were ready to come home!

Next on the agenda: Operation Disney World!!

Day 5

Wednesday we spent most of the late morning/afternoon at the spa getting amazing massages. They were wonderful and I wish I could go back. They spa was very nice but once again you can't take pictures were your getting pampered!!:) We watched them feed the turtles that afternoon and that evening we took a taxi to Nassau. We ate dinner at Senor Frog's. We were trying to recreate spring break! Just kidding! There were some cruise ships docked but the restaurant was not very busy. After dinner we had our Beck's farewell reception! That was it. The next day we were leaving to come home at 2:00 pm!

Day 4- Dophin Cay

Tuesday we spent most of the day at Dolphin Cay . We did a shallow water interaction where we swam with the dolphins. Our dolphin's name was Michelle. I was nervous at first but it wasn't to bad. Of course we didn't get any pictures of the dolphin since we were in the water. They did take our picture with her but I have not gotten around to ordering it yet. We ate dinner at the Mesa Grill which is Bobby Flay's restaurant from food network. It was amazing and well worth the price tag! Brandon checking the markets on vacation!! We only had 15 min to check our e-mail daily and the markets were top priority.
Watiting our turn to swim with the dolphins!

Bahamas Day 3-Water Park Again

Monday we spent the day at the water park again. We went down some different slides and got some sun. We went down one tube slide that goes through a glass tunnel and you can see sharks and things. The boys and Stacy went down a body slide and I stood on a bridge and took their pictures as they went down. We also went down to the beach that morning but the salt water was too cold for us so we went back to the pool. After swimming the boys did some rock climbing at the Climbers rush, and we watched them feed sharks. I tried to take so pictures but they did not turn out well. For dinner we went to Nobu a Japanese restaurant. It was quite an experience to eat with chop sticks!! After dinner we always spent a little time in the casino . Eating rice with chop sticks

Myan Temple Water Slide

This is where the tube slides were located. You either walked up the steps to go in or ride around on the rapids river. Fun fun!!

Bahama's Day 2

We spent most of the day laying in the sun and at the water park. We rode around in rapids river and did some tube rides. I even got talked into going on them. I was so scared at first but I just held on tight. We also rode on a double tube so it wasn't so bad. Brandon went down the Mayan Temple but I didn't have my camera handy so I didn't get a picture. Unfortunately we were in the water a lot so I didn't seem to get as many pictures as I would have liked to. We were going to have dinner at the Chopstick but we couldn't get reservations so we ate at Johnny Rockets instead!
