Weekend..
Our weekend started off by Tayten going with my mom and Shelby to rocket judging for 4-H and me going to Mary Anne's 1st bridal shower. Tayten had a great time and so did I. Other than the fact that I have a nasty cold and my head is completely plugged.

I can't wait to meet her! Natalie is due the day after Mary Anne's wedding so it will be a surprise to see if Natalie makes it to the wedding!!
Then Sunday we went to church.
Me and my sweet girl before church! Then we came home and I went off to another one of Mary Anne's bridal showers. It was a lot of fun as well and we had some great food but I was so hot I thought I might die. I've been hot all day..maybe I have a fever to go along with this cold.
Daddy & Tayten stayed home and played. They also got the tube ready for the lake!

Father's Day & Other Things
Happy Father's Day to everyone!
I can't remember what we even did for father's day but I'm sure we enjoyed it! We had a long hard week last week so I'm slowly getting back to our normal schedule.

Fathers Day 2010A big huge thank you to Grandma Kathy,Grandpa Jim,Brent & Stacy for watching Tayten last week. She loves you all very much and is still jabbering up a storm telling us all the fun things she did.
Yesterday we spent the day with my mom and Shelby. We were originally going to go to the pool but since it rained in the morning we just did errands and a little shopping. Then we went water walking. Wow...what a workout. Shelby and I didn't quite even make it a 1/2 lap against the current and our legs felt like jello! It was so much fun and good exercise. Can't wait to do it again!

Lions, Bears & Tigers Oh My..
Last week we visited the Indianapolis Zoo. We had lots of fun and saw lots of fun animals. It had been a long time since I had been there, but not much had changed. Tayten loved looking at all the animals but she starting getting hot and tired towards the end. 
After the Zoo we went to the water park. Tayten had a ball. She was so tired that evening she couldn't even walk. She is definitely not scared of water. She went down the slide more times than we could count. That's pretty much all she did the entire time. I didn't get many pictures but a few!
The worst part was about every 2 hours they break for about 10 min to check the water. We had a very hard time keeping her entertained and out of the water for 10 min! Let's just say we had major meltdowns!! :)

All Work and No Play..
Can you guess what we did this weekend?
Yep..mulched all the flower beds. It was hot, but everything looks so much better. Tayten napped most of the time while we were working but when she did wake up she spent most of her time doing this...
Being the water girl!!
Not because we wanted her to but, because she insisted on bringing us water constantly.

Salad Face
Tayten loves salad. Well, let me back up. I'm not sure if it's the salad or just the ranch dressing. She's into dipping everything and she loves to dip in ranch. I captured these pictures the other night at dinner while she was eating salad.

Weekend Festivities
Not much happened around here this weekend. Brandon was finishing up side dressing corn and we just kind of hung out. Friday night we went to Dari-Licious with Mom and Shelby. Forgot the camera but Tayten loved playing in the little park with Shelby. It was so nice out. Then on Saturday we went to a graduation party. When Sunday rolled around we stayed home and played outside. Well, I pulled weeds while Tayten napped then we played until daddy came home!

Anniversary
Yesterday evening we celebrated our 3rd Anniversary! Sort of last minute Brandon decided that we should go out to dinner. We weren't sure where we wanted to go so he finally decided that we would make the quick trip to the north side of Indy to go to the Long Horn. If you've never been it's excellent and along the same lines of Lone Star. We were going to take T will us, but instead a "very special" babysitter watched her.
We had a great dinner except when T is not with us, we don't ever have much to talk about. Were usually so busy keeping her entertained that we don't get a chance to say much or just talk about her.
Here's some of our wonderful food. I should have taken a picture of the bread because it was soo good. We ate a loaf and a half! And then the dessert. They have "fried cheesecake" on the dessert menu there and it is to die for! It's ice cream on the bottom, then the chucks of fried cheesecake, whipped cream and some strawberry sauce. Yummy !
Great dinner & time but I was anxious to get back to Tayten. When we got back to her she was cleaning up the CD's that she pulled out of the shelf. I tell you... that special babysitter lets her do what ever she wants all the time..and that would be why she likes her " BRENT" so much! She loves him usually more than Brandon & I both. She will run right past both of us to get to him. Then she hug, kiss, and snuggle with him forever. Talk about making us jealous.
I think she may have worn him out by this point! Brent watched her solo last night since Stacy was working. After we dropped her off Brandon said I would never watch any one's kid if you weren't home! ha!!! He said she was very good. She even talked him into letting her sit on the big girl potty!! I'm not sure why she decided she need to use the potty since at home she normally only uses it in the morning!
