Current Obessions...

1. These Brownies are to die for! So quick just 15 sec in the microwave and their done. Perfect for when you need a quick chocolate treat. I love these things. I picked them up on sale at the store the other week and now I'm addicted. I'm sure my waistline appreciates it :)

2. Tayten- Queen of the Jungle is correct. What a monkey we have on our hands. A spoiled one at that. She is getting quite good at testing me, but I love her anyway! We have started calling her Tate or "T" for short and she seems to go with it!

3. Boots- Check out these little boots. Aren't they sweet? The good thing is T loves them as much as I do. I think that boots may be my weakness this fall/winter. I just love them

4. SKINNY JEANS- Maybe not for my self but totally for Tayten. They are so cute on her paired with her new boots. Absolutely in love :)

5. Jelly Beans- I am eating myself sick on these things. Buttered popcorn is the best. I was so happy that I could get an entire bag of my favorite flavor. They even smell like popcorn. It's like eating popcorn but better!

6. Hair Accessory's- It's a good thing I've got a little cutie with lots of hair! I love these new hair clips and headbands that I ordered for T. They are so cute and different. They are handmade as well. I ordered them from etsy!

Monkey Love

Hey Batter Batter.....

Friday night we went to a Indianapolis Indian's baseball game with Brent & Stacy. I normally am not a baseball fan but it wasn't to bad to actually watch except for the killer heat. First of all it was way to hot to go to a baseball game. Second..it's not a good idea to go on an empty stomach. With that being said I was starving by the time we got there because I hadn't eaten a very big lunch. So after we ate and were sitting outside in the blazing sun my stomach starts to hurt and I'm feeling like I'm going to pass out any second. I never did pass out or throw up but I came very close...blue lips and all. Once all that was over we did find our seats and watch a few innings of the game! Still fun..but way to hot.


So needless to say I got NO pictures. Actually I didn't take one photo all weekend.

Today we went to Emma's 2nd birthday party! Tayten loved swinging on the swings!

Fair week so far...

Tayten & I have been busy this week going to the fair or (e-i-e-i-o as Tayten calls it) to watch the girls get their projects judged. Tayten is loving it, and I'm so glad it hasn't been scorching hot. Were going back this evening, to hear some special music played by my grandparent's friends. Yesterday was the beef show & we worked the Beef tent for FFA. My little neighbor girl Claire showing her calf. She is so tiny & the cow was massive but she did wonderful! Isn't she cute? This is her 1st year in 4-H.

Jam Packed Weekend

Our weekend started off by meeting Mary Anne and Bryan at Peppe's on Friday night, then they came back to our house so we could visit! I was a bad picture taker all weekend and only took 1 picture. So this will be a boring post! Then Saturday we went down to the farmers market. The only thing we bought was some blueberries & popcorn! Healthy Hu? Then Mom and I headed to Indy to a wedding for a girl at her work. It was a fun wedding and my friend Lindsay was a bridesmaid so it was perfect! Me & Lindsay

Then Sunday, we went to the car show at church. Tayten was a "mess" all day so to speak. I'm not sure what was up with her but she spent most of the day crying. We also stopped by Aunt Tammy's for a bit to watch them work on 4-h projects while daddy & Brent planted sweet corn.

Busy, Busy

Whew! We have been busy around here this week. Tuesday evening I went scrapbooking with my friends Judy, Jackie & Misha! I used to work with Judy & Jackie at Lafayette Life. Thanks for such a great time ladies I really enjoyed it. Then Wednesday morning Tayten and I went to Gym class. Walking the balance beam

Lake Cumberland

Tuesday night we loaded up the truck & boat, and Wednesday morning we took off. Tayten did excellent in the car. Most of the time she watched a movie & only slept about 20 min. We had a lot of fun swimming, boating, sunning & playing with everyone. Tayten loved playing with all her cousins. She was soo tired every night and slept like a rock! She loves the water & likes to swim so it was the perfect spot for her! Bathing Beauty

July 4th Festivities

We came home from the lake on Saturday just in time to hit the party scene! We unloaded, unpacked and headed out to Brent & Stacy's for a great fireworks party! Tayten took a good nap on the way home so she was well rested and fired up for a night of fun! Being silly

I forgot to take some pictures of the fireworks. Tayten loved them and wasn't scared at all. But...Buckeye was. He wanted to go inside badly and this is where we found him once we were done and came back in side!

Yesterday we went to church & sort of took it easy. Not really any big plans for the day. We just hung out and relaxed and got stuff cleaned up from our lake trip!
