Black Friday's Events

My black Friday actually started Thursday night around 9:00 pm. I think we pulled into the the Toys R Us parking lot around 9;30 or so. My mom, Kelsey & Aunt Tammy joined me. We waited in the car forever laughing at all the people (people are CRAZY) and having a good time until they opened the doors at 10:00. But, once they opened the doors they didn't let everyone in (only so many at a time) so it took forever. The line was double or tripled lined around the back side of the store. At that point we decided to leave at head to Wal-mart at 11:30. We went to Wal-mart, then back to Toys R us. I think by 3:30 we had already been to 4 stores plus ate at Arbys! Yes, we ate roast beef sandwiches at 3:00 AM! We had so much fun, and got lots of good deals!! We were back home by 9:30 at the latest I think. I visited with Brandon & Tayten, took a quick nap, then we got ready and headed back to get our Christmas Tree. We made our annual visit to Lowe's to pick our tree! LOVE this picture!
This is the one!

This is my favorite photo at the moment!

ADORABLE!!!
Were headed to the Beck's Christmas party today, so I won't have the finished tree pictures up until Wednesday afternoon/evening. Tayten gets to stay over night with grandma Kathy, so wish them both luck!

17 Weeks & Thanksgiving

Baby M at 17 Weeks.
I'll have some more stats when I go to the doctor on Thursday
Of course T had to have her picture taken too!
Where did she get the crooked smile? It shows up in almost EVERY picture

And she wanted to have her picture taken with me too!
Thursday we went to Connie & Ed's for Thanksgiving. We ate way to much delicious food and Tayten loved playing with the kids. After we were done eating Aunt Connie let the kids have a "Tea Party" and she was in heaven. One of her favorite things to do is pour water from one cup to another.

Showing off her Thanksgiving shirt

Having a tea party with the kids. She is being very serious in this one, she's probably getting ready to dump the water. Her other favorite thing.

We had a great Thanksgiving, stay tuned for lots more posts on our very busy weekend

It's starting to look a lot like...

A MESS!
(Maybe a little Christmas)
This weekend was a busy one. I was gone pretty much all day on Saturday. Daddy and Tayten had a day together & mom, the girls & I had a day together. First we went to a HUGE craft show in Illinois. It's big but it's all Christmas, so since I don't need anymore Christmas I didn't BUY a thing! Shocking isn't it? We had lots of fun, & laughed a lot, never a dull moment with Kelsey, Shelby & my mother. By, the way...she thinks she knows directions better than the GPS does! Just ask her!!

Then, my aunt was hosting a Tastefully Simple sit down dinner. I think we got served 5 courses or something. The food was yummy, and of course we had fun. We started planning our Black Friday shopping adventure :)

Sunday..we went to the attic and pulled out all the Christmas stuff. I have about 5 boxes & totes plus 4 or 5 things in trash bags. We did mange to get our one single strand of lights put on the porch and the rest of my outside decorations put up. I have yet to decorate the inside, but that will probably be done by Wednesday!

It was a busy weekend, but since I just checked the calender and we don't really have a free weekend until after Christmas, I guess we will just get used to it!

I'm off to make muffins!

16 Weeks & Starbucks

Baby M at 16 weeks
  • Currently the size of an avocado
  • Still eating boxes of nerds but I've laid off KFC
  • My back is currently KILLING ME. I don't know what I did but it has hurt for the last few weeks. It feels like it's on fire.
  • I'm starting to think about names...I mean I went upstairs and dug out the baby name book.
  • No longer wearing regular jeans, they are way to uncomfortable

Every Wednesday when I get ready to have my picture taken, Tayten always insists on having hers taken, so here is her weekly picture before gymnastics!

I don't have a clue what she's looking at but she is saying,"cheese"

I probably should have added Starbucks to my craving list, but I didn't because I crave Starbucks even when I'm not pregnant. Last Friday night Brandon and I swung through the Starbucks drive through to get our mocha's. You need to try the White Chocolate Mocha!!Anyway, after the lady handed us our drinks, and we drove away Tayten says," Where's my mocha?" We about died laughing! Apparently I/we go there a lot because she now can spot a green Starbucks sign from a mile away and always says," Mocha?"

Anyway, next time your by a Starbucks try:
Salted Carmel Hot Chocolate
Carmel Apple Spice
or a
White Chocolate Mocha!
They are delicious!

Weekend Festivities

Saturday morning Tayten and I along with my mom & Shelby visited some craft fairs. We met up with Aunt Connie & Grandma Davis as well. I just love craft fairs, It seems like there are some every weekend until the middle of December. We went to 3 on Saturday. I'm trying to limit my self on Christmas things because....well I just have way to much stuff. Anyway, I could not resist this sled and somehow it ended up in my trunk. :) We had so much fun, I can't wait to do it again Saturday!

Then Saturday evening we visited with Aunts, Uncles & Cousins. Tayten loves to play with all the kids, and she really loves Aunt Bethany's baths in the BIG bath tub! She's STILL talking about it. Thanks Bethany!

It's about to get really busy around here. Next week Tayten and I are busy Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday! Of course we can't forget about Thanksgiving and then my FAVORITE day of the year! Crazy Madness Shopping day!!! Toy's R Us opens at 10 pm Thanksgiving night!! Do you think I can talk my shopping partners into starting at 10PM?? We will see!!

15 Weeks & then some

Baby M at 15 Weeks I'm not doing very good at taking weekly pictures, I keep forgetting. I don't want to bore you each week with the same post but I want to at least list a few things so I don't forget.

Baby M is the size of an apple this week!
Current Cravings: Nerds, Milk & KFC; I can't get enough of the grilled chicken & mashed potatoes.
I still haven't cleaned out what will be the baby's room, or decided what color to paint. What is even more shocking is that I haven't even bought one baby thing yet! Shocking I know!
Tuesday was MOPS day. Tayten is getting so good about not crying and having fun while she's there. She started to cry when I dropped her off, but she quickly stopped when Ms. Nora reminded her that mommy comes back. I'm so proud of her! She loves Ms. Nora though so I think that helps a lot.

Me & my sweet girl before we left
I love her to death!
Then, Yesterday we had an impromptu play date with Aunt Tashney, Grace, Eli, & Addi. Tayten had so much fun and kept asking for them when she woke up from her nap.
Thanks for coming over guys!!!

Hope your having a great week!!
PS. It's almost time to decorate for Christmas! I can't wait!
I think I may do it before Thanksgiving this year!!

Halloween Part 3- Halloween Night

Finally...Sunday evening we got dressed up once again and went up to the church. By Sunday evening Tayten was done. She has a horrible cold/runny nose, had a very late short nap so needless to say she cried the entire way to the church and then asked to ride in the stroller. She cheered up some once we got there, but was frozen. Her poor teeth were chattering so we didn't stay long. She trick or treated the parking lot, went down the slide & then we headed home.

All ready to go AGAIN!

Getting some treats from Aunt Tammy

Tayten, Haylee & Emma
Once we got home, settled her down, gave her some medicine & cuddled at little with daddy she was ready to look at her candy. It was so cute, as she kept saying, " Look T!"
New necklace & comb

Finding a sucker for daddy. She was very worried that daddy did not have a sucker. Then after she gave him one she kept repeating, " TT's Sucker, Daddy's Sucker, No mommy sucker"

All this candy is "MINE"
Even though I won't eat it and haven't touched it since
Sunday Night. She hasn't even asked for it!

Yummy Sucker

" TT's Sucker"

We hope you all had a great Halloween!
I'll post some pumpkin carving pictures soon.

Halloween Part 2- Halloween Party

Saturday night we ventured out to a Halloween party at one of Tayten's favorite place's, Brent & Stacy's house. Oh-my did she have fun, she was wound up the minute we got there until we left. She loved playing with her "friends" and running around chasing everyone!
Lots of cute kids in cute costumes
Group Shot before the hayride to the pumpkin patch

Getting ready to go pick pumpkins

Off they go!
They all picked pumpkins, did lots of cute crafts, & had lots of fun.

Halloween Part 1- Fall Festival

Friday night we went to ECC Church (where we go to MOPS) to their Fall Festival. The kids get to dress up, play games, & get LOTS of candy. Tayten loved "cheating" on all the games to get candy. With the amount of candy that she received Friday night we could have called it quits and never got dressed up again. But, what fun would that be so we did it two more times!! Sweet Little Strawberry Fairy
Making a face on the star

Tossing in bean bags

Painted Face!

Stay tuned for the rest of our Halloween Weekend!

Happy Birthday....

Daddy!!
Mommy & I love you very much!
I can't wait until you get home tonight so we can have a birthday party, even though I keep saying it's "B's birthday" instead of daddy's birthday!

Have a great day! We Love You
