Snow Play

In what little snow we had the girls played outside with daddy for a few!

 Hollis got a little sled ride :)

 T was into throwing snowballs

 and sliding down the "mountain"

H wasn't to sure about leaving her mittens on or being bundled up so she didn't last long, but she loved every minute!

A Tayten Day...{Ice Skating}

One chilly afternoon we left Hollis with the baby sitter and took Tayten on a little outing! She has been asking and asking to go ice skating ever since she watched the Max & Ruby episode of them ice skating, so we finally went!  

First we had lunch on Campus at Noodles. One of her favorite places. Then we headed over to the rink.

 She only fell once! We could not get her to take a break! We were there for about 2 hours and the girl went non-stop!

 She really got the hang of it and wanted to go fast.

She's already asking to go back 

After we were done, we made a stop over at the Silver Dipper for a snack.

Santa

Santa visited while we were at Grandma Maples!

 H of course was not having it...but I think the pictures are cute anyway.

Christmas Evening

We spent Christmas evening at Grandma Kathy's & Grandpa Jim's along with Kyle, Emily, Neil, Tashney, Grace, Eli & Addi. 

Hollis was sleep for a while so Tayten opened up her gifts and then played with her cousins! 

Hollis finally woke up! They wanted her to open her presents really bad but she wasn't quite ready at first, so It was a long drawn out process for her (Notice how her clothes change...that's how long it took)

What Tayten voted the BEST Christmas {EVER}

After we played a little while Grandma, Kelsey & Shelby came over. Of course that meant more presents!

We let the girls open first, since they don't care what we got each other!

 They both got stick horses, which they have wanted forever and play with on a daily basis. Did you know that sometimes cowgirls wear princess dresses and high heels to ride horses? It happens at our house daily :)

And this would be why Tayten declared it the 

BEST
CHRISTMAS
EVER...

 She LOVES her new Minnie Mouse power wheels scooter. Which by the way is still in the house! You should see the marks it makes on the kitchen floor...:)

 Yes...they both ride it, and sometimes when Tayten isn't paying attention Hollis jumps on for a solo ride!

Why do you  think my Christmas tree went out the front door the day after Christmas...nothing is safe! 

Christmas Morning 2012 {Finally}

We had such a fun time with the girls on Christmas Morning! Tayten is at the perfect age where everything is just magical and Hollis gets so excited over everything! I took over 100 just on Christmas morning so I had a bunch to choose from.

 Santa must have been pretty full by the time he got to our house...He only took a bite out of each one!

 Sweet H wasn't sure what to think..

 This girl was just to much to handle

 Pretty much the only thing Hollis cared about was the Elmo wrapping paper. She LOVES Elmo!

 Tayten is completely into Doc McStuffins.

I'm pretty sure we now own everything ever made that is the Doc!

Oh and they were so tired from our Christmas the night before they slept in until after 8! I thought we were going to have to wake them up!

After we played a little we got dressed and ready for more....

Trying to blog...

I keep attempting to upload the rest of our Christmas pictures but Blogger is having issues. It's been going on for days...hopefully they will get it fixed soon and I can finally get Christmas finished up!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve Morning the girls woke up to a special breakfast made by our Elf! He decorated the table, made a cute breakfast and left a few goodies!

 

 

 Such a creative little elf!

Tayten was so excited about the doughnuts even though I don't think she even tried one.

 Hollis on the other hand LOVED them.

 

Later on that evening we went to Aunt Connie & Uncle Ed's house to celebrate Christmas. Hollis didn't want to wait...she tore into her gifts as soon as they were handed to her :)

Finally a guitar!!

The girls had so much fun and loved their gifts. We played a little bit more before heading home and getting ready for Santa to come!
