Mobile

My sweet little lady is now mobile....

She hasn't mastered crawling but she can army crawl pretty much

anywhere she wants and FAST!!

I was hoping she would wait until after the tree was down, no such luck
but she hasn't really bothered the tree

She just really likes these

Good thing they are shatter proof :)

Breakfast with Santa

Saturday morning we went over to the Union at Purdue for "Breakfast with Santa". We actually skipped out on the breakfast part but we did all the other activities. It was fun, Tayten's favorite part was the gingerbread house! Giant Gingerbread house

We tried to take some pictures in front of the tree, but there were a lot of people so we had to do it quicklyHollis wasn't to sure about this...

They had crafts set up for the kids to make.. Tayten loved it

While we waited in line for Santa, they had elves doing tricks. This elf was juggling and Tayten got to help her

and finally we got to visit Santa

Meet....

Nerf!

Nerf is our Elf on the Shelf.

He came to our house Thanksgiving Day and has been watching for good behavior to report back to Santa. Each night the Elf flies back to the north pole to report to Santa then flies back to our house. Each morning he is in a new spot for Tayten to find.

She loves him... He came with the book, so we read it. It tells all about the elf and gives some rules like,"no touching the elf" and such. We also had to name him and Tayten choose "Nerf"

Wow! She has grown up so much

Trim the tree...

Tayten got all sorts of excited when we bought the tree and when we brought down the boxes of decorations but when it actually came time to do it she wasn't all that interested in it. She did hang a few then she decided she would put the star on. Hollis well....I'll just let you see the picture.

Hollis had the tree skirt off within 10 minutes....

I was hoping she wouldn't notice the tree!

Tree Picking

Friday after Thanksgiving we went and picked our tree! I didn't get a lot of pictures since Hollis decided that she didn't like picking out trees. The little lady was not happy! Tayten of course ran around like a crazy girl and really thought we should get a tree that was about 2 foot tall! Up to something

Tayten got a BIG tree for her toy room, It's really not that big but its BIG to her.

She was so excited to get it out of the box!
