The final Christmas Celebrations

I got a little behind blogging about the rest of our Christmas Celebrations. We had a LOT of them this year. I decided not to upload a ton of pictures, but we did have a great & fun time. Tayten got to spend some time with her cousins that she doesn't get to see very often! After a week of parties were are definitely ready to slow down and get back into our routine! All 14 of the Moseley grandkids/cousins

Christmas Morning

Tayten woke up at her normal time of 7:30, usually she sits on Brandon's lap for awhile and watches TV but not Christmas morning........She was ready to JUMP!!!!
Best gift ever for this child!!
I'm sooo glad Santa brought a trampoline, she hasn't jumped on the couch one since Saturday morning. It plays music and different games and she just loves it. She would open a few presents and then say," I go jump" then she would jump for a while then repeat the process all over again.
She's still a jumping fool. All day..every day since Christmas!
I took a TON of pictures (this is no where near all of them) so I'll let them do the talking
Opening her stocking

Thomas the Train Tooth Brush

Stamp pads!

Handy Manny Talking Tool Box which she LOVES

And, yes I put a matching bow in her hair when she woke up so that her pictures would be cute :) Yes, I know I'm crazy

Just a few more celebrations to blog about and Christmas will be over!

Cookies for Santa

Right before we put Tayten to bed on Christmas Eve we let her set out the cookies for Santa. She didn't really "get" what was going on but she acted like it was fun! She insisted that we put 3 cookies on the plate and when I poured the milk she picked up the glass and started drinking it. Trying out Santa's milk
I Love this picture

Cheese Mommy

After she was done with the milk she picked up the cookie and took a bite. Once she realized that she didn't like it this is what she did with the cookie!

Christmas Eve

We celebrated Christmas Eve with my parents & sisters. First we had a late lunch at Texas Road House. After we ate everyone came back to our house where the madness began. Tayten was so excited she was running around in circles having the time of her life. We let her open her gifts first then, once she was playing with them we did ours. Ready..Set...GO

"Bigger Bigger one" for Tayten
Bigger Bigger one is what she says when something is really big!

Unwrapping very slowly

Unwrapping the BIGGER BIGGER ONE!

Oooh...Thomas!

Lining up all her new Cars.
Once she was settled we went around the room and unwrapped our gifts. Tayten had to help Kelsey & Shelby most of the time. Kelsey & Shelby are fun, but it so much fun to have little ones at Christmas! It's just so exciting for them!

Papaw unwrapping his gift

After the gifts, we ate, talked, played and all that stuff!
More Christmas adventures to follow soon............

Decorating Cookies

The night before Christmas Eve, Tayten & I baked up some sugar cookies. That evening I let her decorate a few of them while I frosted the rest. She only decorated three, then used her finger and scraped the icing off and ate it! Eating sprinkles
Yummy frosting
"Look Daddy"

Just getting started on the 1st one!

Future Gymnast?

I didn't get around to getting a picture taken this morning, but I did manage to figure out how to upload the video clip. I have a ton more but they take forever to load so I'll just do one.

This is what she doe's in my belly all day, especially when I lay down at night :)

I think we may have another future gymnast on our hands.

Cindy the ultrasound tech. was trying to get her to flip over in this video. She did this for about a minute or so before she finally figured out that was not going to work!

Christmas Round 2

Saturday we celebrate Christmas with my Grandma Haugen & Bill. Tayten was very excited to get a baby doll that plays peek-a-boo but most importantly she got a Fur Real Bear that came with a baby bottle. So..she uses the bears bottle and feeds the baby. Thanks for the gifts Grandma! Tayten loves them. Feeding her baby

She loves opening the paper

We've been busy so far this week trying to get everything ready. Hopefully today we will get our cookies baked and decorated. I only have 2 gifts wrapped so I also have a lot of wrapping to do, along with the all the other things!
PS. I'm still working on getting those video clips uploaded.

It's a.........................

GIRL!!!!!! Her hands were always by her face.
Sweet little baby feet

We couldn't be more excited for this baby GIRL.
It's going to be so fun to have two girls to dress up. I told Brandon that this means I really need to learn to make hair bows now! I think I may have a winter project lined up!

So far, she is still name less and probably will be for a while. I'm open for suggestions!!

I have lots of video clips that I'll try to post tomorrow if I can get it to work!

20 Weeks & gymnastics

Can you BELIEVE it ?
Half way there all ready!! Baby M at 20 weeks
I forgot to post a picture the last two weeks, but there isn't much to update! I still haven't cleaned out the room, but as soon as Christmas is over I'm on it!
Here are a few shots from gymnastics today. Tayten loves Mrs. Christie so much, it so cute to see her excitement each Wednesday morning. It's amazing how much she has changed since she started going each week.

Christmas #1

On Saturday we had Christmas with my mom's side of the family. I took a ton of pictures, so mostly I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Shantel & Tayten after the "tea party" Tea Party's are the whole reason you want to go to Aunt Connie's house. Tayten loves pouring water!

Misty & Dave

My aunt, uncle & grandma leave for Florida on Friday so that's why we celebrated so early. I didn't take any pictures of my grandma, (sorry grandma) but I did get her a cool Purdue Christmas Tree. Did you know that she helps Matt Painter coach? But I don't think she gets paid well enough so that's why they loose sometimes! :)
Anyway, we had a great time.
I'm so glad well all get together and laugh and have a good time!

Christmas Ornaments

Before Thanksgiving a received a county craft/decor catalog in the mail. One afternoon I dug it out of the mail pile and started flipping through it. I didn't really see anything that I liked so I was about to toss it into the recycle when something on the back page caught my eye. It was perfect and I had never seen anything like it before. As I read it, my eyes filled with tears and I knew right then that I would be ordering about 6 or 7 of those things. It was a metal Christmas Ornament that said," Merry Christmas From Heaven" and a few lines from a poem.

After I looked around awhile, I decided that instead of buying them I would make something and give them as gifts to my grandma, Aunt, and cousins as a Christmas gift. I love how they turned out, although the pictures don't do it justice but you get the idea.

I packaged them up into little Christmas boxes and also sent along a copy of the entire poem.
Everyone was shocked and not a dry eye in the house.
Here's the entire poem. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Merry Christmas From Heaven
Author: John Wm. Mooney, Jr.

I still hear the songs
I still see the lights
I still feel your love on cold wintry nights
I still share your hopes
and all of your cares
I'll even remind you
to please say your prayers
I just want to tell you
you still make me proud
You stand head and shoulders
above all the crowd
Keep trying each moment
to stay in His grace
I came here before you
to help set your place
you don't have to be
perfect all of the time
He forgives you the slip
If you continue the climb
To my family and friends
please be thankful today
I'm still close beside you
In a new special way
I love you all dearly
now don't shed a tear
Cause I'm spending my Christmas
with Jesus this year.
