Corn!!!!

Tayten loves popcorn, especially carmel corn. Anyway, this is how we entertain her when we need to get something done!

Give her a HUGE bowl of popcorn and she's good to go!

and, then daddy sits down with her and they eat the entire bowl!!

Because.....

It's not cold and snowy enough in Indiana for us...were heading to Wisconsin tomorrow! It seems silly to go in the dead of winter but it's really the only time that would work out for us. So..tomorrow were heading out to visit Brandon's friend Dirk. We haven't seem him in a little over a year so now's the time!

While were there were also going to spend a few days in the Dells at one of the HUGE water park hotels. We were trying to decide what we should do while we were there and this seems like a perfect fit. Tayten loves water and they have water parks for toddlers as well as adults right inside our hotel! Plus they also have lots of dry activities to do as well. I'm sure we will have lots of fun!

26 Weeks

Baby M at 26 weeks! Baby is the size of an English cucumber!

She's moving around a LOT

My current food obsession is Keebler Grasshopper cookies! They are just like the thin mint Girl Scout cookies. I'm in love with them.

I've started working on the baby's room & love the way it's turning out so far.

She still has NO name. I don't think we are any where close to coming up with one either.

I have a Dr's apt on Friday, I'm anxious to see how everything is going!

Weekend

We had a laid back weekend around here. On Saturday we went to a Creative Memories Party that my aunt had. I love CM's product which is scrapbooking things. I ordered a display board thing and I can't wait for it to come in. While we were at the party, Brandon painted the baby's room. I was nervous about the color but it turned out great, and goes with the bedding wonderfully! Dresser/changing table

Crib

Then on Sunday we put the crib together and moved the dresser in there. We ran out of time to put together Tayten's new dresser, but we wanted to make sure everything would fit in there. I still have a nightstand and a bookshelf to add and I think were good.

The paint still looks orange in the pictures but I think it's safe to call it coral pink. The room is very very small so it hard to take good pictures, but I like what we've got so far!

We have a busy week this week, so I have lots to blog about!

Baby Girl's Room

Finally........

Here are my "plans" for Baby Girl's room!

(she needs a name, I'm tired of calling her baby girl!)

I decided to go with the color scheme of.....

Blue, Green & Pink.

I hoping it all comes together as well as I have planned.

First- The bedding. When I ordered it online I wasn't sure about it but went ahead with it since it was the only thing I found that I liked. I was really worried about the white in the bedding not matching the crib. My crib is white but it's pottery barn white, so bright white's look funny with it. Anyway, it came and I love it!

This is a close up of the crib skirt.

The sheet that came is blue, and the bumpers are white with blue trim and dots of all three colors.

Second- Extra Fabric. I set out for Jo-Anne's today looking for some coordinating fabric to match the bedding. I have some BIG plans in the works, and was hoping to find something cute. I decided to just go with solid colors for now and work in some prints (maybe). I'm feeling really creative so hopefully I can make some cute things.

I'll post my creative side as soon as I start on it!

Third- Paint. I was having all kinds of trouble trying to figure out what/how to paint the room. It's a very cozy looking room and it has angled walls and such. I took the bedding with me to Menard's and decided to paint the walls the pink/salmon color. It's not a bright pink or a pastel pink. Maybe salmon is the best way to describe it. The trim will be primitive white. I hoping it looks okay once it's finished, which will hopefully be on Saturday!!

The paint samples look orange in the picture, but I promise it's not.

Fourth- Extras. I went to my favorite store, Hobby Lobby looking for some matching paper. Above is what I found. I thinking about framing them in big frames for some cute wall art.

I also picked up two lamps on clearance at Target. One is a floor lamp and the other is a table lamp. I'm going to revamp the shades to make them match as well. The only other thing that I have picked up is a blue distressed picture frame that I got at Marshall's the other day!

Of course, I have lots more ideas for the room, but they are hard to explain, so when I do them I'll post about them as well.

I'm excited to see it all come together, but first I have a lot of crating to do!

25 Weeks

It's been a while since I last posted a weekly photo so here they are!

Please excuse how horrible I look.

I had just returned home from shopping with my mom all day and I am tired.

I can't believe were at 25 weeks already. Time is going so fast. Everything seems to be going great and I finally started on baby girls room. I'm getting excited to see how it's all going to come together.

We still haven't picked out a name. We have made it to the letter "M" in the baby name book.

This past week I've been very tired but I think my body is still working on catching up from running nonstop since the 7th.

I think that's all for now.

PS. I'm still working a post that will reveal the colors for baby girls room!

Still Here.....

If I have any readers left.....sorry I haven't posted in awhile. I haven't picked up the camera pretty much since Christmas. We haven't been doing much either. Just spending our day with my mom & the girls. Hopefully soon, we will get back into a routine and I'll have something to post about!



But, on Sunday we started painting the baby's room. We actually only primed the walls but it's a start. Hopefully by the end of this weekend we will have it done! I'll post some pictures soon!

Happy 2011 to everyone!

I was going to do a year in review post, but after I started working on it I decided that it was going to take way to long! Honestly I can't even remember what we did in 2010, so I broke out last year's calender to take a look, It looks like we were very busy & Tayten did a lot of "firsts".

I can't wait to order my 1st blog book. I love reading through all the old posts and seeing what we were up to.

2010 was great but I have a feeling that 2011 will be even better!
