This past Sunday, we finished up some work that needed done on the stair well. Brandon did most of it while Tayten was napping since it would be 100x faster to do it without her "help." When she woke up, everything was pretty much done except for cleaning up. Brandon made the comment that he needed to sweep the stairs, so the little miss took charge and started sweeping with her sweeper! Never mind the fact that she HATES the real sweeper! It cracked me up that she was using the attachment Taking the sweeper up the stairs

I (LOVE) Etsy
I have an obsession with Etsy.
(Etsy is a website that sells handmade items, it's a huge website and they have everything)
Anyway, I love just browsing through the pages, and then creating my own version of the product. Of course, I don't know how to make/sew everything so I do end up purchasing stuff too. I thought these things were just way to cute to pass up
1. Easter Chick Shirt Isn't it just adorable. She was very proud of it when it came in the mail too.
2. Baby Bows I ordered these baby bows right before I finally found some free instructions on how to make them. O-well. I still have yet to practice making them so it may have been a good choice just to order them.
3. More cute baby things
3. More cute baby things
from one of my favorite hair accessory stores on Etsy, I ordered this little hat and headbands. They look really small, I just haven't stretched them out yet. I'm excited to try these out.
I also got some stickers that you put onto onsies and take monthly pictures with. They are super cute and so cheap! I can't wait to use them. I tried to take a picture but there was to much glare off the paper.
Here's the link to one of my favorite stores:

St. Patty's Day
We didn't do much for St. Patty's Day except go to dinner to celebrate my dad's birthday, but Tayten was sporting her green attire so she didn't get pinched! Her shirt says, " I'm Lucky"
She wanted me to take a picture of her green St. Patty's Day stamp that was on her feet

We also had a photo shoot done Thursday morning, I'll post pictures as soon as I get some.

33 Weeks
- We have a date set! Baby Girl Moseley will make her debut into the world on April 28 (if not before i guess)
- My current cravings are still those Keebler grasshopper cookies, but I've actually slowed down on them. They don't taste as good anymore.
- I think I'm running out of room to eat actually. I usually only eat little bits here and there now
- I finally had to ditch my rings. My fingers are to swollen by the end of the day and they were getting uncomfortable. Which, by the way makes Tayten sad. She keeps saying," Mommy's ring gone" and then asks me to go get it. I normally wear it on my pinky finger when she needs it. ( Yes, i know she's spoiled, but that's how I like her :) )
- The wall decorations that I ordered for the baby's room came yesterday, so now I have no excuse to start getting the room ready.
- I've ordered some cute baby things on Etsy, I'll show you soon
I think that's about it for this week.
6 more weeks to GO!!

DIY: Table Decor
While I was upstairs getting out my spring decor, I came across this metal bowl that I've had for a while but didn't have anything to put in it. I thought about getting some of those decorative balls that they sell at Pier 1 but I didn't really want to spend $4.00 a piece so I decided to make them. Plus I already had all the supplies in my craft closet( aka: bathroom that no one knows about! ha) Step 1- Gather your supplies. Just some foam balls, moss, & hot glue. I never used the jute twine. I thought I would but didn't
Step 2: Find yourself a cute 2 year old helper!
Let her help (make a mess) for about 2 min and then talk her into having a tea party with water so she will give you a short break so you can finish the project.

Step 3. Put hot glue all over 1/2 of the ball and cover it with a small amount of moss. I made a nest and then covered the ball. Do the other side. Check for holes or missing areas and add some more glue and moss. It's so easy!!

Weekend hodge-podge
Not much went on around here this weekend. Saturday was a fun day. Brandon kept Tayten for me, while Shelby, mom & I went to Indy for a little shopping. Kelsey had some FFA event to go to, so it was just us 3. They needed some spring break things and I just shopped for my girls. The traffic was awful. We may have spent more time in the car, then actually shopping. I did get some super cute summer things for for Tayten. We can't wait for warm weather :) Sunday, we worked on my "to do list" and organized the toy room. Now I'm in the process of making labels for all the toy containers. Plus, I finally finished some craft projects. I'll post them soon!

What's for Dinner?? Round 2
Brandon loves chicken fried chicken or steak, so when I came across the Pioneer Woman's Chicken Fried Steak Recipe I gave it a try. It was so easy and great tasting as well. If you have never been to the pioneer women's blog you have to. She has the best recipes and pictures. Just go see for yourself!
I didn't take a picture of our dinner, because I forgot and when I remembered it was GONE!
Chicken Fried Steak
Ingredients
3 pounds Cube Steak (tenderized Round Steak That's Been Extra Tenderized)
1-½ cup Whole Milk, Plus Up To 2 Cups For Gravy
2 whole Large Eggs
3 cups All-purpose Flour
Seasoned Salt
¼ teaspoons Cayenne
LOTS Of Black Pepper. Lots.
Canola Oil, For Frying
Salt And Pepper, For Both Meat And Gravy
Preparation Instructions
Begin with an assembly line of dishes for the meat: milk mixed with egg in one; flour mixed with spices in one; meat in one; then have one clean plate at the end to receive the breaded meat.
Work one piece of meat at a time. Season both sides with salt and pepper, then dip in the milk/egg mixture. Next, place the meat on the plate of seasoned flour. Turn to coat thoroughly. Place the meat back into the milk/egg mixture, turning to coat. Place back in the flour and turn to coat.(So: wet mixture/dry mixture/wet mixture/dry mixture.) Place breaded meat on the clean plate, then repeat with remaining meat.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Drop in a few sprinkles of flour to make sure it’s sufficiently hot. Cook meat, three pieces at a time, until edges start to look golden brown; around 2 to 2 1/2 minutes each side.
Remove to a paper towel-lined plate and keep warm. Repeat until all meat is cooked.
GRAVY:
After all meat is fried, pour off the grease into a heatproof bowl. Without cleaning the pan, return it to the stove over medium-low heat. Add 1/4 cup grease back to the pan. Allow grease to heat up.
Sprinkle 1/3 cup flour evenly over the grease. Using a whisk, mix flour with grease, creating a golden-brown paste. Keep cooking until it reaches a deep golden brown color. If paste seems more oily than pasty, sprinkle in another tablespoon of flour and whisk.
Whisking constantly, pour in milk. Cook to thicken the gravy. Be prepared to add more milk if it becomes overly thick. Add salt and pepper and cook for 5 to 10 minutes, until gravy is smooth and thick. Be sure to taste to make sure gravy is sufficiently seasoned.
Serve meat next to a big side of mashed potatoes. Pour gravy over the whole shebang!

32 Weeks
I forgot to post a picture last week, and this picture is horrible.
I don't have much to report this week. I'm still working on baby girl's room. I've almost got the lamp shades finished and I have ordered some wall decorations. I have a few more things to create and then I think all of the craft projects will be done.
Then I can put the bedding together and fill the dressers and closest. Lots of organization to do!
She will be here before we know it!

Hair Cut & A Birthday
Yesterday Tayten got her 2nd hair cut ever!! Her hair was getting very long and uneven so it was time for a trim. She insisted on getting her hair washed, but once Sarah got started she started to cry! Of course she didn't cry for me, she cried for her daddy She actually said," this is fun!"
All done with the hair wash and on to the trim. She was fine after about 2 min of crying. I think maybe it just scared her. Sarah braided her hair into 2 little french braid pig tails. It was adorable!
Then, last night we went to Texas Roadhouse for Kelsey's birthday! Tayten thought it was her birthday at first!
